If you commit to writing 500 words every day, 500 words x 365 days = 182,500 words in a year

The average book has less than 60,000 words in it, so in one year you written the equivalent of THREE books!   Now go through and find sections that are especially meaningful to your family and elaborate on them.

Narrative writing is the easiest to do and to relate to as a reader.  If you write from your heart, the whole world will stop and listen to you.
